Golly - where to begin.....

Well, first justjohanna has changed its name to "justjohanna's Odd Bird Planet". Since there are more artists involved in creating stamps than Johanna, the name justjohanna didn't quite fit anymore. Same great images and sentiments - just a new name.

Along with the new name, the website got a face lift. You have to check out the home page. The drawing was colored by Debbie. It will knock you socks off!

Also, Odd Bird Planet has become a Member Company on Splitcoast Stampers! If you have never been on this site, you gotta check it out. Its amazing. While you're there check in to the Odd Bird Planet Forum and say "Hi" to the design team.

Speaking of the design team, the new team has been announced (and I'm lucky enough to still be on it!). The list on the left will take you to the blogs of the other designers. They are so creative and talented -its amazing.

Also (see - lots of news!), there are new images! All the cards here use new images just posted on the site. There is a circus theme and also a line called space cupcake. Too cute! You can check them out HERE.

Finally, Odd Bird Planet has a Wiki. What's a wiki?? Well, its kind of like a reference site, but anyone can edit content. The one for Odd Bird Planet will tell you all about the stamps and give little stories behind them. The wiki also contains challenges, tutorials, techniques, sketches, etc. It also give you the chance to make suggestions for images or sentiments you'd like to see. You can read more about it HERE.

Whew - there is more news, but that's enough for now I think!

About all the cards....

They are all made with the newest release of Odd Bird Planet stamps. The patterned paper is BoBunny and all the images are colored with Copics.

I love the Elephant! The balloon was made by using just one of the balls from the 3 balls stamp and adding the string.

I'm very fond of the juggler card - because I think I asked Johanna for that sentiment about 5 times!. I'm not sure I've ever gotten a card mailed on time.

This third card - the bird just cracked be up with his "yeah - right" attitude.

I really like this bird stack....

















This rare South American long legged owl is nearly extinct (they are prone to fatal falls from tree tops on windy days). Hmmmm....Think I need to go add that story to the wiki...........











Last is a trio of fashionable penguins - also late.....
