Not More Garland Cards....

OK... just a few more and I'll take a break for a while - promise.

This is a card I created for the daughter of my husband's friend from grad school (we won't mention how long ago grad school was). She just graduated from high school. I find this all amusing since they have 2 high school graduates and a high school junior - meanwhile we have a first grader and 4 year old twins. Did I mention we started late (LOL).

All stamps are from "justjohanna" (Garland Really Wide, Gigi, and Fabulous) The images are colored with Prismacolor markers. (sorry for the wonky picture - I was making this card as I was walking out the door)

This was a very quick card - since I had the background left over from another project. Again, all stamps are "justjohanna". "Flower Garland Narrow was stamped above and below to create the wreath. The white panel is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.

This card was created for a Technique Challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. The technique is called ink over watercolor ink. You wet watercolor paper and stamp your image with a dye base rainbow ink pad so the colors blur and spread (I sprayed with more water after to get more blending). Once the paper dries, you stamp your image again using the same colors.

OK - that's it for flower garland cards for a while. I think I got them out of my system!

If you have some time, hop over to my friend Melanie's blog. She is the guest designer for Gina K this month and created some awesome work.

These are all excellent! I am glad you posted that garland inside a scalloped circle...I tried a project with one of the garlands in that same circle and it didn't "bend" enough. I will order the other one as well :) They are awesome images ;)

Wow. Those are beautiful!

The garlands are both on my "must acquire soon" list!

That technique sounds cool. I'll have to try it out some time!
