Double Time

I'm on this great little group where the group leader chooses a technique and assigns partners. We then attempt the technique and send the results to our partners. We share all the photos in a database so we can see what everyone else came up with. Its so fun to see what different people can do with a technique - and we can help each other out if we get "stuck". Melinda does a great job choosing techniques.

This last technique was called "Double Time". You create a background by stamping an image repeatedly until all the ink is gone - so the darkness of the image varies. You keep doing this and building up layers of images to create the background.

For my cards, I choose a clear snowflake set from Impression Obsession and I stamped using Brilliance ink. The focal images are embossed in this really pretty glittery, peacock colored EP from Sparkle N Sprinkle.

Thanks so much for stopping by....
