Fly soup.....

Well, I had some time to stamp this weekend - but I seemed to create mostly dreck....

I think my wimpy little creative spark got intimidated by all that space and organization. I just had one of those sessions when nothing was quite working. Well - gotta keep trying.

I'm sharing this card not for the card itself but for what it represents. You might not be able to tell in the photo - but the red on the bowl is a little messed up. That is because.....

I had to take my glasses off to do the detail work

Auugghhhh.....

Do you know what this means? First it was the pregnancy weight that just wouldn't go away (is it still pregnancy weight when your twins are 4?), now I'm closing in on needing bifocals! Can daily doses of Metamucil and a walker be far behind??

Luckily, I have a caring and sensitive DH who consoled me by saying "Welcome to middle age dear". Sigh.... My only consolation is that he will always be 6 years older than me.

Anyway - about this card. The image and saying are from Lasting Impressions With Panache. I saw it at the stamp convention and it just made me chuckle. Not sure what I'm going to do with it exactly (such an impulse buyer - maybe now that I'm getting more "mature" I'll be able to curb my impulses). I'm thinking maybe a birthday card for my brother. BTW, the layout is the sketch challenge on Splitcoast.

Well, I'm off to have some nice, wholesome bran cereal for breakfast (maybe with a beer....).

Love the card the frog and saying are adorable, middle age is not that bad, from what I can remember.

I am swooning over your cards - yes, I heeded your shameless plea to visit your blog :)

I could not have resisted the frog stamp, either!

However, on being middle-aged with four- year-old twin daughters..."Beer! It's not just for breakfast anymore!"

hee hee The card is cute and your post is cute too! No worry about the middle age cause you just don't look like one!
