We had a great time visiting in Michigan. The kids loved spending time with their Grandma, Grandpa and cousins.
And I bought a couple (ahem... uh.. maybe a few) things at the Novi Stamp convention. Can't wait to play!
This card is made with a new clear stamp set from Inky Antics that I got at a great stamp store near my Mom (yes - shopping at the convention was just not enough!).
This card was actually an experiment for me. I have quite a few Prismacolor markers and I'm starting to learn to use them. Of course - now Copic markers are all the rage. Well, I really like the color range of the Copics, especially the lighter shades. But no way was I going to replace my Prismacolors! As an experiment, I bought a couple Copics to see if the markers are compatible and blend each other. Well, based on my experiments - I think they can! The turtle is done with blends of 2 Copics and 1 Prismacolor marker. Yay! More colors.
Well, I'm still trying to dig out from the trip - but I hope to get back to my regular scheduled Blog posts soon! I'm full of ideas!
