A Yahoo group that I am on (although not very active lately) had a weekend challenge to use the color combo burgundy and lavender.
I had this colored image laying around from practicing with my Prismacolor markers - so I thought I'd give it a try.
I'm finding I have a real problem coming up with cards I like when I use really big images. Like this one for instance - would it have been better without the sentiment?? Hmmm... need more practice I guess.
The leaf stamp is by Beeswax rubber stamps and the sentiment is part of one from Impression Obsession. The leaves are colored with a combination of 3 yellow/gold Prismacolor markers (practicing blending). I did a little blending on the twigs too.
Sigh..... I'm in a bit of a funk. Just can't seem to make anything I really like. Usually when that happens I pull out different stamps and stamp more - but life is just not allowing that at the moment.
Hopefully - I get it back together soon. I feel like I'm way far behind on EVERYTHING. But I'm sure it will all smooth out again once we get on the more regular school schedule. We had a fun summer but a very busy one.
Thanks so much for stopping by - I'll try to be a better blogger...
