We have been talking a little about gardening on the yahoo group for my "Stamping, Blogging Sisters" and that got me to thinking about spring. Right now everything around here is a drab muddy mess.
But every spring God works a miracle and creates amazing beauty out of dead-looking mud.
I thought I'd share a few shots of my garden in spring for those of us still locked in winter.
I love peonies and have a bunch. This one is a tree peony called "Cricket".
The yellow tree peony is called "High Noon".
This is the shed....
Here are some pics of the back yard.
The fence in front of the vegetable garden. A deer resistant fence has now been added behind it and all around the garden.
Here are the garden beds by the front porch.
I have moved!

What a beautiful garden, and it will be back to full bloom in only a few months.
Oh Catherine, you can see how much you love your gardening. Beautiful pics...no wonder I'm so intimidated to start! Where to begin! I think we have one hydrangea, one brown eyed susan type and a few mostly dead evergreen bushes. our work is cut out for us! wish me luck!
This is beautiful! :)
It's no wonder you make such lovely crafts with all this beauty to inspire you. :)
Beautiful!!! Makes me yearn for spring.
It's a dream Cathy! What a gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous garden. Now I can come and look at these pics and live vicariously through you (sans the weeding) teehee! :0) Mel
Beautiful pictures. You have a lovely garden.
You have a beautiful and outstanding card, I wish we had something like this, even the space you have would be lovely xx
Oh, WOW! Your garden looks fabulous!! It's what I thought of for mine... but of course I only have grass... and not burnt grass for all that matters. So... want to come over? :D
I am so jealous! I miss my gardens:( I had to leave all my purty flowers in Washington and I haven't quite got the hang of gardening in Texas. Your gardens are beautiful!!!!!
Your garden is gorgeous! It must be a lot of work, though of course, it's so worth it.
I love flowers, but can only really do container gardening since our soil is 98% compacted red clay.
I also really like the new blog header. Great job drawing and coloring!
OMGosh, Cathy! I've never seen such a spectacular garden!
oh drool! Now I'll be dreaming of spring!! You have some beautiful gardens!! I started from scratch here and I'm not sure if I have any photos to share...but flowers are such a sure bet to bring a smile to my heart...just love them!!
