And what better way to celebrate than to have a Spring Shipping Sale?
For a limited time, any order over $20 at Paper Garden Projects gets free shipping anywhere in the continental US. I'm not sure how long my spring fever will last, but for now I can't help celebrating!
Speaking of celebrating, here is a simple little treat basket for Easter. I chose to use the Easter Cross Cling set because I wanted to include a little real Easter with the treats.
The cross is colored with Copic Markers. The image and scalloped oval matte are both cut and embossed with nestibilities dies. I created the white band around the oval by leaving the die in place and applying Distress ink in China Blue with a duster brush, then removing the die. I also inked the scalloped oval to bring out the embossing.
And I used...... you guessed it......... my beloved Threading Water border punch. I punched the top edge and both sides of the handle.
I bagged my candy, stapled the bag shut and glued on a folded circle to hide the staples.
Here is a template for the basket. The paper is 6.5" high by 12" wide. You just score and cut per the diagram (every 2 3/4") and fold everything in. Apply glue to the bottom piece and the side tab.
Before I folded mine, I scallop punched the top edge.
My handle is 3/4" wide after punching (1 1/4" wide before punching).
Happy Spring everyone!
