A challenge card.......

I belong to an online group where twice a month someone picks a technique and we each make a card with it. Then we trade it with a partner.

The latest technique was "spotlight". Here is what I came up with.

I colored my "spot" with Copics and matted it - then arranged it on the main image stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa on cream cardstock.

The stamp set used here was the Girl and Kitten unmounted set from Paper Inspirations. I like the old fashion look of these stamps, and since most of the shading is done by the stamp ink, its pretty easy to color. The stamps are available in the Paper Garden Projects Store.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday! Thanks so much for stopping by.

The Spotlight technique is fun, and the image you used is adorable. Lovely job with the technique. I know it's late, but I just wanted you to know that I finally got my card posted for last weeks challenge. Sorry it's late, but my computer crashed.

What a great idea to use the spotlight with this kind of art stamp. I find them hard to work with, but this takes the intimidation out of them, :0)
