Hi everyone!
I'm back from my little break - we had a great week visiting family, swimming and playing with cousins. I hope everyone else had a great week too.
All of the orders from the Paper Garden Project store were processed yesterday - so expect your stuff any day now. Thank so much for your support!
I thought I'd share an invitation I did (actually 13 of them!) before I left. Once a year, our church has a special service and a lunch afterward for church members who normally can't make it to church due to age or illness. The church members provide transportation and any special help needed.
They asked if I could make some invitations and this is what I came up with. I wanted them to look happy - and thought everyone loves cupcakes. So here it is.
The stamp is from the Impression Obsession Cupcake clear set. It also has some individual cupcakes that I stamped on the envelopes. You can see the set by clicking HERE.
I colored it with my beloved Copic markers - but I was in a rush to finish before vacation so I forgot to note the colors I used.
The patterned paper is from the Basic Grey Blush collection and the cardstock is Bazzill and Prism.
Speaking of cardstock - I have a question (if you don't mind answering)....
What is your favorite brand of cardstock? And, if you have a choice, do you prefer 8.5" x 11" or 12" x 12"?
I've always bought 8.5" x 11" because I can fit it in my file cabinet. But now that I'm doing more things that are not the size of standard cards, I'm using more 12"x12".
If Paper Garden Projects was to carry a line of cardstock, what would you like to see?
Next up is the Garden Party challenge - and wait till you see what Debbie made!
I have moved!

That is such a cool thing your church does...and to have you make those amazing invitations...wow...what a blessing!
Hi Cathrine, those cupcakes are fabulous! I have a Q? you have some white and cream cardstock in your store, is this the right cardstock to be used with the Copics?
Hello,
I love this card!
Hugs and love from germany

Oh SOOOOOOOoooo pretty! Those colours you chose are sweeter than sweet together. That stamp is on my 'hafta have or die of heartbreak' list, LOL. Anyone would be honoured & cheered by receiving such a lovely invitation. :o)
That card is so cute! Thanks for sharing! I prefer using 8 1/2 x 11 paper simply because it's easier to store for me. I have several "mail sorter" type things for storing my papers.
Hello Cathrine,
Just came across your blog, love it!! Your cupcake card is adorable. Was interesting reading about the copics. I have never used them, but thinking about a purchase. As for cardstock. . . .
I truly have tried many, (tooo many), brands of cardstock. My favorite is Stampin'Up! It is a nice heavy paper for cards and projects. I like the 8 1/2 x 11. I make alot of cards and to cut this size in half is perfect for 2 cards. I do have 12 x 12 on hand for larger projects.
Have a sparkling day!!
