So ... the story behind this card?I was working on a Odd Bird Planet design assignment. The assignment included some lovely, swirly K&Co paper, Flower Garland Narrow, Bernard (a lovely flying bird) .....and..... Space Owls. Space Owls?? While cute and all, I couldn't quite get how Space Owls fit in with the elegant theme.
But I'm game to try.... So here is my card.
Turns out, the Space Owls were not part of the assignment - they were an extra little gift to the design team. Sigh.... one of these days I'm gonna be organized and on top of things.
So thanks for the Space Owls Johanna! They are cute!

You totally made the fancy space owls work. I really agree with your tips about the border punches. Sometimes I get some wacky edges too.
This is so funny. When I started this assignment, I did the same thing - I thought what does the flower garland, the bird and space owls have in common?? Weird combo, but then I realized the same thing you did, that the space owls were a gift. I love this card, though. I love the color combo.
