The ship stamp is from The Angel Company. The background is made with the wax paper technique. Basically, crumpled wax paper is ironed on to glossy paper to make a resist. Then I used a brayer to apply Colorbox Paintbox chalk inks on the diagonal. On glossy paper, if you let chalk ink dry and then buff with a tissue, it creates a shiny finish.Thursday, March 15, 2007
Guy cards....
Like many stampers I know, I have a hard time with "guy cards". My husband jokes that he always gets "bugs" or "leaves" for his cards. Well, here is a "boat" and I can probably muster a "lighthouse" or two. Or maybe I'll just give him some nice girly flowers for the next occasion.
