Father's Day Cards....

Running late as usual.... Here are a couple Father's Day cards.

This first one is for my husband. He always teases that his cards are always leaves or bugs (hey - guy cards are hard!) So I thought I'd try boats this time.

The image is stamped on vellum and colored with alcohol markers. The image is from River City Rubber Works through Rubber Inspirations. I dusted off the corrugator...haven't used that thing in ages.

This one is for my Father - similar layout but and A2 size with a little less layering.
The background was done with a combination of wax paper technique and alcohol ink polished stone.

These both are just gorgeous. I love the metal embellishments on the first one. It's so much more fun making female card, isn't it?
