Halloween???

If stores can have Christmas in July sales, can I make Halloween cards in June? Well, apparently I can.

justjohanna has some really cute Halloween images and "bird-accessories". I LOVE the little pumpkin candy bucket.

Here is my favorite bird - Belle, all dressed up for trick or tweet....

For this card, I stamped and embossed Adenville on watercolor paper in a pearlescent silver embossing powder. Then I sprayed heavily with Cranberry and Stream Ranger color wash sprays to get a blotchy purple. After it dried, I added the stars with a stardust jelly roll pen (can you find the big dipper?).

Don't you just love the little ghost bird? Too cute. You can't tell in my pathetic picture, but the circle is popped up (I need photography lessons!)

This last card if my vision of birds Trick or Treating (they like the candy corn the best - ha ha!). Johanna has a bunch of different chicklets all dressed up and perfect for trick or treating.

So while the rest of the world is making 4th of July cards - here I am doing Halloween. Makes me hungry - do they sell candy corn this time of year?

Thanks for stopping by to look.

Such fun cards. I love them all.

If I find some candy corn, I'll buy it and send it to you, though it would probably melt in the mail. Ick. That'd be a mess, eh?
