More Halloween

Another quick justjohanna Halloween card...

This one has Al in his witchy hat. The tree stamp is called Spring tree. I use this stamp often. I was not sure if I would because its big, but it turns out it is pretty versatile. Its easy to use only part of the image. And since the branches are mostly bare, you can add leaves or flowers and use it any season.

In this case, I added some leaves using the swirly heart stamp and colored them fall colors.

For all you alcohol marker users out there - at the base of the tree, I colored the green using the colorless blender from Prismacolor by picking up green from a scribble on a margarine lid. I find it difficult to get a smooth application of color this way. However - I have since tried the Copic colorless blender and could get a smoother color application with it. I really like the Copic colorless blender better. It is smoother and the brush tip is more effective for blending. Just one more opinion.....
