A Springy Special..............

justjohanna has a new special deal with a spring feel!

If you order the special deal stamp set at the right, you can save 20% off the price!

Below are a few samples I made with the set. You can see the special deal HERE.

(the flower garland was designed by yours truly, so please buy them so I can keep drawing stamps...)

In other news - today is the last day to leave a comment on this post to win a free stamp. Just tell me your favorite type of stamping ink.

So yesterday, I'm getting out of the shower and decide to brush my teeth. Then decide - I'll spray bathroom cleaner and let it soak while I brush. Then one of the 5 year olds come in with a craft emergency, and I must fix her project right that instant or the earth will stop spinning on its axis and hurl itself into the sun. So there I am - not dressed, choking on toothpaste, inhaling cleaner fumes, trying to repair a paper doll................

Please tell me the rest of you live like this.... Even if its not true, just lie to me. It will make me feel so much better!

I was planning to post this yesterday, but we had a power failure. This was of course after the storm water control system the school district just installed along the back of my property failed and the storm water washed about a third of the topsoil from my yard. I now have 15 year old trees with their roots laying on top of whats left of the soil. Luckily, it did not fill the basement. But loss of topsoil is quite heartbreaking for a gardener. Bare roots are never a pretty sight. Ugghhh.... what a mess.

One last note (finally - sheesh....)- I'm trying to learn Photoshop Elements and I'm taking Up and Running With Photoshop - an online course from Jessica Sprague. We are only 1 week in but it is really excellent. Great material, organized and the instructors are very responsive.

If I don't learn a lot it will be my own fault. Too much time trying to save mankind from fiery destruction instead of practicing...

Hope everyone else is having a nice relaxing weekend!

This is my first time to visit your blog, and I LOVE how you used the stamp. It seems so versatile. As for craft emergencies - they happen all the time at school! My kids aren't old enough for them at home yet, but I'm sure they'll come. You asked about favorite inks - have to say that I can't live without my distress inks. Too many options with them.

OK, losing all that topsoil sounds horrible . . . will they replace it for you? I thought you were going to say that in the confusion in the bathroom that you put cleaner on your toothbrush! Now that would be horrible, scary, and possibly an issue for poison control! Yes, I live like that all the time! My girls are very self-sufficient except for when I'm in the bathroom or just out of the shower . . . why is that do you suppose? Finally, your cards are FANTASTIC! I love everything about them!
