Odd Bird Planet July Deal
Hi everyone! Just thought I'd let you know that the Odd Bird Planet's July Special Deal is now available.
You can save 25% when you buy the stamps as a bundle. And there are substitutions available if you already own some of the stamps.
Don't you just love that cow?! The stamps are fabulous.
You can see the deal HERE.
Here are a couple cards I made with the special deal stamps. I used the Blue Plate Special Paper kit from Paper Garden Projects to make the samples. The kit contains coordinating patterned paper (double sided), cardstock, ribbon and embellies.
For this first one - potbelly cow is dreaming of flying.
I used my Threading Water punch to make a scalloped strip from some of the paper. I really like that flowered background paper. I colored the image with my Copics and added a gray shadow (C-1) underneath. And I used my trusty duster brushes with Dried Marigold Distress ink to ink the edges of the image.
I know I said I'd start including Copic ink colors - but I colored these before I started keeping track. So its coming....
This second one uses papers from the kit also. Again, its colored with Copics.
The dots on the mushroom were made with the colorless blender. I colored the mushrooms and let the ink dry. Then I used the very tip of the colorless blender to dot the mushrooms. The blender fluid pushes the colored ink out and leaves a light dot behind. If you want the dot to be lighter, just let the ink dry and repeat the process in the same spots.
You can see more wonderful cards made by the Odd Bird Planet Design Team in the gallery HERE. You have to check out the sheep by Stamping Mathilda. Wow!
Busy day tomorow - so I best be off. Good night everyone.
