Well - well - well! My favorite colored carstock brand is Bazzill and I prefer the 8.5 x 11 size. Your blog candy is quite the loot. I agree with you that the 13th sounded like a good date especially considering that's 13 is the reciprocal of 31.

Danni said...

I don't know that I have a favorite but I use alot of Bazzill and I use the 8 1/2 x 11 more since I seem to have put my scrapbooking on hold for a bit.
What a great give-away!

I like the 8.5 x 11 size of cardstock 90% of the time. I don't have a favorite brand, because I'm new enough that I'm just trying to use what I have on hand from scrapbooking materials. I did buy some GP white for card bases and a couple colors of PTI.

Ari Vega-Macias said...

i use a LOT of 8.5x11, the more bazzill the better i say:), but i am willing to use ANYTHING!

Yay....a sale...I'm off to go see if you have some of the Copics I *need* in stock again!! :)

I love Bazzil's texture. I usually go for 12x12 because I get 4 card fronts and some leftover layering pieces. It hurts to cut into a card sized panel...but I can do it! LOL!

My favorite is Papertrey and the size would have to be 8 1/2 x 11. So excited about the drawing !!!!!!!!

My favorite cardstock is Bazzill because they have such a nice variety of textures and colors.

I like 12x12 because that's the storage I have.

However, Prism makes metallic card stock that is totally great.

Ha. Nice answer.

Who doesn't love blog candy? The witches shoes are to "trick" for...

My most used cardstock is Stampin" Up! in the 12x12 size. I sure could use this gift pkg to scrap my darling grandchildren in their adorable costumes!

Yummy looking candy! If you are talking colored cardstock it's Bazzill size 12 x 12. Smooth, colored cardstock is any brand that is heavy.

I'd have to say that I (like many others) really like the Bazzill cardstock, but also really like Stampin Up ~ due to the color coordination & it's ability to go thru the CuttleBug. I prefer the 8.5x11 size (perfect for standard cards). Thanks for the opportunity to win such a fabulous prize!!

I use Stampin'up cardstock most of the time. My favorite color is greeen, I think olive is the color I use the most. Since I only make cards, 8 1/2 x 11 is the size I use. Thanks for a chance to get some good candy!

Most times I use 8.5x11 just because I always seem to find better deals on it. Really, I use so much that I shop by price and not brand. I like one that is at least 80 lb, but use the 65 lb stuff too in layers when the colors are right.

Thanks for the chance at some wonderful blog candy... now to check out those copics!
hugs, Jami

I prefer Stampin Up or Papertrey Ink card stock. 8.5 x 11 is my most preferred size but I do grab some 12 x 12 pieces for certain projects. I try to utilize every scrap of paper :)

Great blog candy.

Thanks,

Teresa

I haven't used that many different brands of cs but at this point I'd have to say I really like the weight of SU's cs. I prefer 8 1/2 x 11.

For white paper I use Paper Trey Ink's and colors I use Stampin' Up. I love good quality paper! Off to check out your online shoppe!

Monday Oct 13th is also Canadian Thanksgiving, so you can celebrate that with us! That's a good reason for Blog Candy.
CS Favs? Whatever I can get my hot little hands on... well probably SU for cards but Bazzill and Prism too.. whatever matches the best!
I used to use 81/2 by 11 but lately I'm really liking the square cards so 12x12 leaves less waste.

Thank you for the great blog candy! My favorite size of a paper 8.5 by 11 inches. My favorite brand is Bazzill, I don't have one... but I like it seeing on other people blogs!

I love the DCWV matstocks (4x6) for christmas, winter, spring, you name it. I also like the 8 1/2x11 paper at Hobby Lobby. I buy this on sale and it's good quality stuff.-Spartymom

When it comes to card stock, the only card stock I don't like is the 8.5 x 11 solid shades you find in Michaels and JoAnn's. It isn't a nice weight, too light.

Hi, I just found your blog and love your cards. I love SU! paper and I use the 8.5 x 11 size. Great blog candy!

Ronni said...

My favorite cardstock is bazzill bling. Probably because I'm voted most likely to be distracted by a shiny object (or paper in this case :) ).

Leslie said...

HI! So glad I found your site! I found you on Mel Stampz blog. I soooo love blog hopping! Well, let's see, to be honest I love black and white card stock they are the most versatile and I almost always use them somewhere on everything I make. When I make scrapbook pages I only use 12"x12" but for card making, which is my new addiction, I only use
8 1/2"x11". Love your candy!

I don't have a fave - but 90% of the time I use 8.5x11, I REALLY don't like to waste anything! I do tend to use a lot of earth tones which tend to be more versatile for me :)
Thnx for the chance to win some yummy stuff!

my favorite cardstock is dcwv cause i like it textured look and the white core. I prefer 12 x 12 gives me more room to play around with whatever my creative mind comes up with.

My favorite size of cardstock is definately 8 1/2 x 11, but I am quickly becoming more addicted to 12 x 12.

I do not have an absolute favorite paper company --- I love color and texture, and the feel of all types of stampin and scrapping papers.

Have a great Thursday!

I like 8 1/2 x 11" paper and I love the quality and colours of SU papers cardstock. I love the halloween patterned papers from the package Mel had to work with. Great embossing and colours!

My fav CS is SU. 8.5 x 11
I'm starting to branch out now however, ha ha!

laurlynn said...

My favorite so far is SU! just because I've worked with it the most. (Starting to branch out). The favorite size is 8 1/2 x 11, again because I'm used to it.

Suzanne said...

Hmm I guess my favorite cardstock would be a toss up between Bazzill and Stampin' Up! I like the thickness of SU but I love the multitude of colors that Bazzill has. I don't have a preference as far as size.

Anonymous said...

I have to admit that I have only used Stampin' Up's 8 1/2 x 11 card stock, but I love it! I like the heavier, solid feel of it. I makes really sturdy cards. One of these days I'll have to branch out and try another company! :) Any recommendations?!

I have always bought 12x12 cardstock for scrapbooking purposes so that is what I am used to. Close To My Heart is probably my favorite cardstock in my stash right now, but this of course is subject to change. Wonderful blog candy, you are very generous.

I really love some of the prints by Daisy D. 8.5 x 11 is easier to store, but you have a lot more options for what you can do with 12 x 12.

I don't think I have a favorite brand of cardstock. I just use it in the color I like. I use the 8.5" x 11" for making cards, but otherwise I prefer 12" x 12"

Oh I got to check on that sale...I like the 8 1/2x 11 paper the best ...easier to store...also my favorite paper right now it SU certainly celery...Thanks or the marvelous chance to win...

Jenn said...

I'm an equal-opportunity cardstock user lol. I like Bazzill, but for stamping, matting, and journaling boxes I usually use the cheap 8.5x11 value pack stuff!

Teresa said...

The cardstock I currently use the most is 110lb white from Staples- it is really nice to work on and works well with my markers and watercolors.

I rarely buy colored cardstock and then just the standard brand from Michaels or ACMoore- for my purposes I don't need much as I prefer patterned paper for color backgrounds.

I buy both 8 1/2 x 11 and 12 x 12.

Guess I wasn't much help if you are talleying these results.

I'd have to say Stampin Up or Bazzil but I think SU's cardstock is really fantastic and I thought that long before I was a demo. I also prefer 8.5 x 11 since I'm a cardmaker and there's no waste.

Right now I use a lot of Stampin' Up cardstock. I like the textured Bazzill too thought! Definitely 8.5x11 for cards. My scrapbooks are 12x12, so I do need some of that size too!

strent said...

I would have to say that Bazzill is my favorite. I really love PTI as well, but limited colors right now. I almost always use 8 1/2 x 11.I use 12 x 12 patterned paper for the base of most of my scrapbook pages so the solids I can buy just the one size.
Thanks for the chance at this awesome candy!!

I like DCWV. It is a nice weight and texture. It also comes in solid colors and designs. I also buy Bazzill when it's on sale. I prefer the 12x12 because it is a more versatile size for my crafting needs.
Thanks for the contest!
